Love business?

Have you always had a great interest the day to day running of a business – big or small?

Well there's never been a better time for you to change your career, and become a Business journalist! What with the current economic climate, there is no shortage of stories in the media on businesses feeling the strain and having to tighten their belts and make cut backs.

You could enrol in in a Business journalism course, and within just a few months you will be qualified to start getting paid for doing something you enjoy – writing about the business sector.

This is exactly what Mnaku Mbani did. He enrolled and completed the Business journalism course, and this is what he had to say about his time on the course:

"I enrolled on the course for two main reasons. One, as far as I am a working journalist, it was so difficult to leave the job for study. So I felt the online course would help me to study while continuing to. Second, as a business journalist, I wanted to acquire formal qualifications in business and financial journalism. This will help me to strengthen my position at work – I am acting chief editor of a weekly financial and economic paper.

This course has met my expectations. The topics and modules were informative and have created the new ideas of working as a business journalist. I am now conversant in writing each medium - newspaper, blog, website, twitter and Facebook.

"The tutorial support was helpful because it is building independence when studying and enables a student to have a quick judgement in dealing with articles.

The course content was satisfactory because it has covered almost all aspects of business and financial journalism. I learned through the course that I need to be flexible over the changing of media world."

Another person who did the same as Mnaku is Lawrence Nodua. Here's what he had to say when we caught up with him:

"I enrolled on this course with CTJT in March 2011, and completed it within 6 months. The course went way beyond my expectations, and the tutorial support was really good.

"The course content was well presented, and very thorough - which made it easy for me to follow. Doing this course has taught me many things, especially tips on writing good stories.

"I would definitely recommend CTJT's courses to a friend!"
