The Truth About Islamic Child Abuse

There is a great deal of Islamic child abuse done in the name of Islam. Because the Prophet Mohammed married a 9 year old child, many feel that Mohammed the pervert was way out of line and a child abuser as well as a pervert by the standards of today. Clearly, anyone who consummates a relationship with a child today is deemed a pervert. A man should not find any sexual interest in the body of a child and one who does is a pervert. However, virginity is much prized in Islam. So much so that in many countries even today, child brides are coveted by those who are seeking this sort of perverted pleasure. In addition to the sexual aspect of the relationship and the need for purity among many Islamic men, a child bride is more inclined to do the bidding of the husband more than a grown woman. She has no mind of her own so she will indulge her husband in all manners. Because Mohammed the pervert believed in the idea of children getting married to older men, this is still being used as an excuse today by pedophiles who want to have sexual relations with children. Sexual relations with children is seen as a perversion in most cultures. Even in countries that are Islamic, this is frowned upon by the majority of individuals. Girls who are married to men in arranged marriages by their parents are usually married at the time of puberty or soon after, with most parents waiting until a girl has gone a bit beyond puberty in order to marry. However, marrying young for a woman is desirable in these countries as it insures not only virginity but compliance in the marriage. Unfortunately, this is also a breeding ground for Islamic child abuse as there are many, especially in the provinces, who will marry their daughters off as young as 10 years old. While those who live in cities are more conforming with the standards of the modern world, there are many who are still going by the mores of the dark ages when it comes to this train of thought. Child abuse can also consist of procedures that insure the virginity of the girl as well as chastity by removing her clitoris so that she cannot experience any sexual pleasure. This is most often done in North African countries such as Egypt and usually takes place right around the age of puberty. In some countries, this is done under anesthetic, although there are some African nations that insist upon doing this to girls without any sort of relief for the pain or even sanitary conditions. Each year, young girls die from infections as the result of this type of procedure. Child abuse also is inflicted upon girls who may be victims of sexual attacks or molestation in that they are often blamed, instead of the perpetrator, for the crime. There are incidents of stoning to death victims of rape in many Islamic countries. In Saudi Arabia, women who are seen to stray, such as meeting with a man outside of marriage and without adult supervision, can be subjected to honor killings, such as being stoned to death, because they are seen as promiscuous.
